I ordered and received A Stressless recliner from Lawrance Furniture. The process was smooth although it took a few months to receive from the time ordered, as I was told it would. It arrived with an ink mark on the arm. A young man from Total Leather Care was sent to my home to remove the mark, which required some recoloring of the leather. It was perfectly done. I was impressed both with Lawrance and with Total Leather Care.
This is my dream furniture store. A place where the most beautiful and expensive works of art reside. Every time I am lucky enough to peruse this gallery of modern home furnishings, I understand the how the rich and famous sit and sleep.
Someday when I am rich and famous, I will come here and let the super friendly staff fill my mansion with the world’s sexiest home furnishings!
I live with 2 other mid 20’s males so you can probably imagine what our apartment is like. Beer cans are everywhere, take out containers galore, and a heck of a lot of candles to drown out the inevitable odors.
It’s for this reason that I probably won’t walk away with anything from Lawrence Furniture for the next few years even though I always enjoy browsing. If I wasn’t so certain that it’d become a stain magnet in less than a month I’d totally pick up a couch here. They’ve got tons of modern stuff that could make your apartment look like a scene from MTV’s cribs. Yeah… it’s a little pricey, but we’re not talking couches that your buddies will be crashing on. We’re talking…be on your best behavior when you sit on them couches.
I’m not exactly in the market for upping my living room to baller status right now, but I definitely know where to go when those beer cans and burrito stains turn into doilies and babies.

Great source for contemporary furnishings. Over the years, we’ve bought several distinctive pieces from them at their great sale prices. Our latest project was the installation of 9 Chihuly-like glass flowers in front of some high windows in our family room. Designer Shannon Denton helped us select the specific designs and colors and then had the flowers Photoshopped onto a photograph of our room. This really helped us visualize and plan the final result which is stunning! An LED strip running below the lights causes the flowers to blossom at night, with their reflection in the windows behind them. The lights slowly change colors, making the flowers seem like they’re alive. I’m sure this installation will end up in some magazines.
We also ordered a very contemporary chest of drawers and storage bench for a major bathroom remodel which we’re in the process of completing. Just got a call today to say they arrived on schedule.
Their selection of merchandise is much more interesting than most contemporary stores.

I just bought 6 pieces of furniture from Lawrance Furniture in Hillcrest. I love the furniture that they showed me, and everyone that I spoke to was extremely helpful. Their design staff helped me consider several different contemporary styles for the same room. They also showed me how the scale of the furniture needed to fit with the scale of the room and how decorative accessories can really change the look of a room. Finally they were respectful of my budget. While they showed me pieces I could not afford, when I clearly loved a piece that was outside of my budget range, they were able to offer more affordable alternatives that provided the same look.
The delivery crew for Lawrance Furniture was also outstanding. They took extra care of both my newly remodeled house and the furniture I purchased. On a very hot July day they carried heavy furniture down a narrow side yard and up a narrow set of stairs to my second floor. Once inside my house they took a lot of care to protect all the brand new finishes in my house, including putting down blankets when assembling furniture, and lifting rather than sliding all furniture when it was placed. Throughout the process, with multiple requests for “adjustments” in the placement of furniture, they were friendly and accommodating.
All in all, it was a great experience!
Over the years we keep coming back to buy furniture. Cindi is the designer and she is the best! She will go out of her way to help and suggest in your interior design efforts. The computer layout of each room was very helpful to see what to select and how to place it before buying it. We’ll be back!
