I love starting with a neutral base and layering in different textures, then adding color through pillows, rugs, and accents that can change over time. It keeps the main pieces timeless while still giving the space personality.

Layering materials like wood, stone, boucle, linen, leather, and metal creates depth and warmth that makes a space feel collected rather than flat. The best part? It allows your home to feel timeless while still reflecting your personality. Trends come and go, but a home designed around you will always feel beautiful.

I genuinely want my clients to fall in love with their homes. To me, this isn’t just about choosing beautiful furniture—it’s about creating a space that feels like them. I’ve always had a natural ability to understand what people are trying to express, even when they can’t quite find the words themselves. I love listening, asking questions, and connecting the dots until we create something that feels just right. Clients often tell me I make the design process feel easy, collaborative, and even fun (I tend to get a little too excited over the perfect fabric or chair!). More than anything, I love making people happy. Creating positive, lasting impacts on others has always been important to me, and getting to help someone build a home they’ll cherish for years to come is exactly why I do what I do.

One of my favorite moments in every project is seeing everything finally come together. There’s something incredibly special about watching a space transform from an idea into a home that feels warm, personal, and uniquely theirs. Seeing my clients’ faces light up when they realize, “This is exactly what I envisioned,” never gets old.

One of my favorite projects started with a client who kept saying, “I know what I don’t like… I just don’t know what I do like.” Instead of rushing into selections, we spent time talking about how they wanted their home to feel—how they entertained, where they had their morning coffee, and what made them happiest at the end of a long day. Little by little, everything started to click. When the project came together, they looked around and said, “This finally feels like us.” That moment reminded me that great design isn’t just about beautiful furniture—it’s about helping people discover a home they truly connect with.

Those moments remind me why I chose this career. For me, interior design has never been just about furniture or finishes—it’s about creating spaces where people will make memories, celebrate milestones, and simply feel at home. Knowing I had the opportunity to be a small part of that is what makes this job so meaningful to me.

Lexi Haimsohn

Interior Designer

My favorite interior design tip:
I love to start with a rug or a piece of art—something that has personality and gives us a wonderful color palette to work from. From there, we can pull out colors, textures and shapes and build the entire room around it, creating a space that feels cohesive, collected and personal.

One thing clients love about working with me:
I think my clients know how invested I become in them and their homes. I listen, remember the little things and genuinely care about getting it right. I love showing them possibilities for their space that they may not have considered. I want them to see the entire vision and end up with a home they absolutely love.

A short experience or story I’d like to share:
Many of my clients come to me while they’re going through a transition in life—moving into a new home, beginning a new chapter or creating a space that better reflects who they are now. I love helping them through that process and turning a house into a home for the life they’re building. It’s incredibly meaningful to create a space where they can feel comfortable, excited and truly at home in their next chapter.

Dalia Bazilwich

Interior Designer

Dalia Bazilwich has over 25 years of experience in the design-build industry. After earning her B.F.A. in Interior Design, she partnered with several nationally recognized retailers and design firms. Passionate about creating thoughtful, timeless spaces, Dalia is driven to deliver excellence in every project. Her top three design principles are simple: use consistent flooring to create a cohesive flow whenever possible, don’t be afraid to go bigger when in doubt, and remember that great design is always about the light.

Lysette Del Castillo

Interior Designer

I believe good design can be therapeutic. I take joy in helping others with their vision, whether it’s having a refresh, making a new home feel like home, or creating a functional workspace. Clients have told me that they appreciate my positivity, my patience, and my collaborativeness. My favorite interior design tip is to “broaden the scope”. Play with ideas that you are not naturally inclined to consider. It gives you the range to find something new, while also reinforcing what you value the most for your vision.
