Gold Plan Protection

Gold Plan is available on most furniture purchases. Gold Plan offers you added protection against most any accidental damage, including but not limited to; stains on upholstery and leather, cuts, burns, tears. It also covers accidental damage to tables, cabinets, chairs, etc. Coverage is good for 5 years and allows you added comfort and piece of mind in using your new furniture. Ask us about this valuable added benefit.

Specific warranties on the items we sell are listed here, and they give you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, so if you have a problem, just let us know and we will try to take care of it.

All furniture and bedding sold by Lawrance is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under conditions of normal usage for a period of ONE year from the date of delivery. Repairs of any such defects will be made without charge to the original purchaser during the warranty period. If Lawrance cannot repair the defect within a reasonable time after being properly notified, we will offer a replacement or refund on a prorated basis at our option. Imports may require additional time.

In-Home Service: If you have taken advantage of our deluxe delivery service, pick-up and delivery back to Lawrance will be included within San Diego County. If you have picked up your purchase, the same ONE year warranty will apply if you return the merchandise to Lawrance Warehouse Service Center and pick it up when repaired. After a period of ONE year from the date of delivery, our service department will order parts, if available, and make desired repairs. The owner will be billed at prevailing rates for parts and labor, as well as pickup and re-delivery, if required.

Items Marked Clearance/As-Is

Periodically, Lawrance sells merchandise that has been hurt, scratched, damaged or just marked down drastically for one reason or another. These items are clearly marked “CLEARANCE” and will be so indicated on your sales slip and on our records. Sorry, on CLEARANCE items we cannot make repairs, exchanges, or accept cancellations. All clearance merchandise will be considered As-Is.

On Approval

We realize that sometimes you will want to see an item in your home before making a decision. Most* items may be taken home and returned within 5 days without charge. If Lawrance delivery or pick-up is used, you will be charged at the prevailing rates. *Items sold Clearance/As-Is and Special Order cannot be canceled.


Because we want you to be completely satisfied with the home furnishings you’ve purchased at Lawrance, we will gladly exchange an item for you if it does not look right in your home, with the following exceptions:

1). Items specially ordered for you, and not from our regular stock, cannot be canceled or exchanged without loss of deposit plus delivery/pick-up charges, when applicable. There can be no deviation from this policy.

2). CLEARANCE/AS-IS items cannot be canceled or exchanged.

3). We’re happy to hold your merchandise up to 45 days. However, items held over 45 days cannot be canceled or exchanged and will be subject to storage fees of 3% per month.

4). Mattresses and/or box springs in customer’s home overnight cannot be exchanged due to state sanitation laws. Your understanding in this regard will be appreciated.

The warranty does not apply to damages from negligence, misuse, improper handling, fire or other accident. There is no warranty for fading, shrinking or stretching of upholstery, for color changes of wood finishes, or for discolorations or pitting of metal finishes. Since Lawrance sells furniture for home use only, it is not warranted for commercial use.

We do not recognize responsibility for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from your purchase and use of our product. Because some states do not allow an exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, the above may not apply to you.

Manufacturers’ Warranties

Some products sold by Lawrance have additional warranties issued directly by the manufacturer. Claims involving these products should be in compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in each individual warranty.

Please recognize that any item is only new once, and that furniture, like any other product, begins to wear out as you begin to use it. But use it you should. And enjoy it.
